This Privacy Policy explains how Recon Arbitrage collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and software (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Account data — your email address and password (stored encrypted / hashed).
Amazon connection — when you connect your Amazon Selling Partner account, we store an encrypted access token used only to check gating and fees on your behalf. We do not sell or share this.
Usage data — scans you run, saved leads, and settings, so the Service works for you.
Payment data — handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card details.

2. How we use it

To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
To check product gating and fees against your connected Amazon account.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To communicate with you about your account, security, and support.

3. How we protect it

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed and Amazon tokens are encrypted at rest. Each account's data is isolated from other accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate (e.g., payment processing, hosting, email delivery, affiliate tracking), and only as needed to run the Service, or where required by law.

5. Your Amazon data

Your connected Amazon account data is used solely to deliver the features you request. You can disconnect your Amazon account at any time in Settings, which removes the stored token.

6. Cookies

We use a secure session cookie to keep you logged in, and affiliate/analytics cookies to run our referral program. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your account data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your personal data from the active Service.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
